Broadstone Mission Valley
- Alliance Residential needed more than interior design for their 497-unit Mission Valley community, they needed a storyteller. The brief: root every unit, amenity space, and outdoor furnishing in the neighborhood’s Spanish colonial and Mexican folkloric heritage.
- Hendy brought that heritage to life starting at the front door. A hand-painted folk art archway and a Frida Kahlo poem lead into a two-story lobby framed by reclaimed wood beams and custom plasterwork, a sense of place that carries through every corner of the building.
- The amenities keep the story going: a speakeasy cantina behind a secret door, an eighth-floor open-air clubroom, rooftop fitness and deck, a golf simulator, and a dog spa with custom artwork. The payoff: 89 rentals in the first 60 days of leasing.
