Global Space Systems company, Rocket Lab, enlisted Hendy’s Science and Technology Studio to deliver a highly branded space optimizing productivity and production. Complete with a large manufacturing floor, open-concept office space, and a space-themed customer experience room, the headquarters embodies a harmonious union of form and function.
The manufacturing floor is the central showpiece with a protean layout including a 3D printing area, clean room and quality control area. The overlooking workspace exemplifies Rocket Lab’s collaborative spirit and commitment to transparency with open workstations used by all employees from the C-suite to the interns.
Emulating the final frontier, the themed customer experience room features black floors with pops of red and white; a large projection screen for viewing live satellite launches; and a 450-bulb lighting installation that replicates the Milky Way galaxy.
