Heidi founded Hendy in 1979, upon recognizing that interior architecture and business practice form the functional nucleus of every workspace – where design influences human behavior. As the founder and principal, Heidi has led the firm to become one of the longest-standing women-owned interior architecture firms locally, creating a lasting legacy for the Orange County business community.
Heidi’s entrepreneurism and business acumen are grounded in her love of art, architecture, and knowledge that drives human behavior in the workplace. She has received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Association of Women Business Owners and was honored with “Excellence in Entrepreneurship” by the Orange County Business Journal.
