The first WELL-Certified™ space in Orange County – Excel Packaging’s headquarters located at 9313 Research Dr. in Irvine – has been completed. H. Hendy Associates led the WELL certification for the 7k sf office space, which earned silver level certification by International WELL Building Institute™.
With key improvements including formal cleaning protocols, guaranteed healthy airflow, opportunities for movement and physical activity, and many others, WELL™ certification gives workers peace of mind when returning to the workplace while helping bolster employee health and wellness, satisfaction, retention and minimizing medical costs. From increased natural lighting to ergonomic furniture to air filtration – and everything in between – Hendy ensured the corporate office for Excel Packaging met all 36 mandatory preconditions across 7 WELL Concepts (air, water, nourishment, light, fitness, comfort and mind).
