With a deep love for art, architecture, and business, Heidi founded Hendy in 1979 because she recognized that interior architecture and business practice form the functional nucleus of every workspace, an intersection where design influences human behavior.

Today, Heidi oversees the design development and project operations for a prestigious list of clients that include Nike, Verizon, Toyota, Rockwell Collins, and Pacific Sunwear.

Heidi is a member of CoreNet, CREW Commercial Real Estate Women, NAIOP, Vistage International, and Women Presidents. She’s a frequent speaker at industry and academic events.

An agency principal and licensed architect, Jennifer has nearly two decades of hands-on project-management experience.

As a project director, Jennifer has overseen full-service interior architecture from design through installation for clients that include CoreLogic, Alliance Realty Partners, Experian Consumer Direct, and Rockwell Collins.

Jennifer is a member of CoreNet, and she is a WELL Accredited Professional (WELL AP).

A design director, Felicia brings more than 25 years of in-depth interior architecture experience to her client engagements.

She is an award-winning interior architect, having won the prestigious CoreNet Global REmmy Award for Innovative Project for her work on the Goodman Birtcher headquarters in Irvine, California, as well as top honors in the IIDA Calibre Award category of Leisure and Entertainment for the ICIS Apartment Homes in Glendale, California.

Felicia’s published work has been featured in the industry’s leading publications, including Interiors Magazine, ASU, Corporate Interiors, Designers West Magazine, Interior Design Magazine, Floor Covering Weekly, and Contract Magazine.

Carolina is an Architect, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and LEED AP professional with more than 15 years of domestic and international experience in creating process-driven environments for high-tech corporations such as General Dynamics, Gulfstream Aerospace, Toyota Racing Development, and Zodiac Aerospace, among others.

The leader of Hendy’s Science and Technology Practice Group, Carolina’s talent lies in designing efficient, dynamic and holistic environments for process-based industries. Her unique approach to projects is through process flow, client collaboration and industry trends.

Over the course of her career, she has designed systems and spaces for everything from candy factories to aircraft assembly lines, reimagining a variety of spaces ranging from 2,000 to 470,000 square feet.

A licensed architect, Susan oversees full service interior architecture from design through installation for clients that include First American Financial, Caltrans, Mitsubishi Electric and Mole-Richardson Company. Ms. Dwyer received her Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Southern California.

Susan is NCARB certified, a licensed architect in multiple states and a member of CoreNet Global.

A member of the Hendy team since 1997, Julie puts her analytical skills to work as design director on large-scale projects such as Rockwell Collins, Verizon Wireless Regional Headquarters, and Pacific Sunwear.

Her award-winning work includes a Shaw Design Award for the highest caliber work within the mid-sized office category for her outstanding design of the Jones Lang LaSalle corporate office in Irvine, California.

Julie frequently gives back to the interior architecture industry, serving as a juror for the NCIDQ (National Council for Interior Design Qualification), a U.S. testing council for design professionals. In addition, she sits on the IIDA (International Interior Design Association) Executive Board, assisting in student scholarships.

Drew oversees our Currents design studio that is focused on creating high-performance workspaces that integrate technology and Activity Based Working into design, leveraging change management methodologies and certified professionals in order to deliver successful projects.

He has spent more than 20 years connecting people to the tools and landscapes needed to achieve their goals, leading change and designing technical solutions across multiple industries, including financial, bio-medical, healthcare and manufacturing.

His passion lies in developing solutions around people and teams, keeping outcomes in mind, so that these powerful tools and environments inspire creativity and productivity.

Human Resources Director

Cindy oversees human resources, public relations, and contract administration for the firm. In addition, she assists senior leadership in business development.

Cindy plays a critical role in fostering the culture of the firm. Among her many accomplishments, she created and implemented a 360-degree career development review that is based on feedback from supervisors and peers to ensure objectivity during the performance-evaluation process. This review also provides clarity to team members on their career path at the firm.

Ruggero joined H. Hendy Associates as controller in 2009. Under his leadership, the firm has instituted integrated accounting and project management systems that streamline business processes from planning through financials, resulting in real-time information that helps bring projects in on schedule and on budget.

Prior to joining the firm, Ruggero served as CFO of a publicly traded firm in Johannesburg, South Africa, that grew tenfold during his tenure.

Ruggero specializes in developing comprehensive financial and operational analysis systems that enable organizational growth. He earned his MBA with a specialization in finance from the University of Witwatersrand, South Africa.
